I am fortunate to live and work in New York City which is an island and a port. I have opportunities to visit ships for a few hours during the time that guests go off the ship to sightsee NYC. Agents are allowed to see different category cabins and all the public spaces. Often we are invited to stay for lunch which gives us an opportunity to sample the food. Seeing the ship gives me the inside knowledge of how to sell the product to the appropriate customer.
